Some of my earliest memories are filled with the hum of a sewing machine, the feel of embroidery floss between my fingers, and the thoughtfulness of handmade gifts crafted with care.
Hi, I'm Diane!
My mom taught me how to sew, crochet, and embroider, just as her mother and grandmother had taught her.
Like so many of us, my life got busy and I found myself pulled away from the slow, intentional crafts of my childhood. It wasn’t until years later, when I was caught in the cycle of too much screen time and endless to-do lists, that I realized something was missing and I began to pick up my crafts again.
With every stitch, I felt more connected to myself, my family’s history, and the simple joys I had unknowingly left behind. Handmade pieces aren’t just beautiful; they carry stories, memories, and a sense of slowing down in a fast-moving world.
Legacy Stitch Co. was created to share the beauty of traditional handcrafts in a way that fits modern homes and lifestyles.

Every product is handcrafted in our studio in Arizona, where we design each pattern, choose the colors, and hand stitch or sew each piece. Each item is created with the goal of bringing warmth, tradition, and style to your home.
We take great care in sourcing materials from American-based businesses and supporting small makers when possible. While some of our textiles are handcrafted overseas, we strive to partner with artisans who share our commitment to quality and tradition.
From the fabric we choose to the final press of the iron, every step is done with the intention to deliver a product you’ll love, use, and cherish for years to come.
